2. Description of Service

TranscribePal provides AI-powered audio and video transcription services. Our Service converts your uploaded media files into text transcripts with timestamps and optional speaker identification.

3. User Accounts

• You must provide accurate and complete registration information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You may not use another person's account without permission

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Upload content that you do not have the right to transcribe
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our systems
• Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or offensive

5. Content Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload. By using our Service, you grant us a limited license to process your files for the purpose of providing transcription services.

We do not claim ownership of your transcripts. You are free to use, modify, and distribute your transcripts as you see fit.

6. Pricing and Payment

• Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis
• Pay-as-you-go credits do not expire
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue free tier offerings

7. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

TranscribePal is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service.
